The freighters moored off Ambleside, on Burrard Inlet,  have always intrigued me; their sharp lines framed against the yielding ocean. They are strong and fragile, stalwart and brawny. They epitomize the ying and yang of life. Playing with this duality, I represent them as spirits meandering on the waters or as monumental constructs that keep changing our seascape.
