My nomination for what was most pointful in 2016: The Boat People

My nomination for what was most pointful in 2016 is the terrible situation of the millions who are being forced out of their homes and countries in the Middle East and Africa, chiefly due to our invasions and ill-conceived interventions which keep expanding. We are the main cause of this humongous catastrophe yet our most common reaction is how to protect ourselves from them, to stop them coming to invade us… I can only hope that 2017 will bring rationality and wisdom to stop this. To represent this, I sadly brought once more ‘La Rielera’ back.
