Payatal – Rebozo in Nahuatl
Traditions & Contradictions Exhibition August 16 – 28, 2016
I created two new artworks for this exhibition organized by the Mexican Consulate in Vancouver. I invite you to come visit at the Ferry Building Gallery in West Vancouver. The opening is this coming Tuesday, August 16, 6 – 8pm, and there will also be a “Meet the Artist” on Saturday, August 20, 2 – 3 pm.

The two artworks I am presenting are Katharographies which originate in photographs of extremely fast moving light which I process through the computer by removing what I don’t want. Then, I digitally paint what I do want.
